Alice & Liz take the Mount Kinabalu challenge!

One of the biggest challenges in Sabah is climbing the mighty and iconic Mount Kinabalu!

Sabah Travel Centre Manager Alice and Business Development Executive Liz completed our 2D1N Climb Mount Kinabalu itinerary to improve their product knowledge and take part in a ‘Live Like Dive Downbelow experience!

The two ladies stayed overnight at the Laban Rata Accommodation Compounds’ new facilities – Lamaing Hut, which is a 3-minute walk from Laban Rata Resthouse.

They also recorded their experience from start to finish, as in from Kota Kinabalu City Centre pick up of our guests who were climbing that day to Kinabalu National Park HQ, the summit trail from Timpohon Gate to Low’s Peak…and the glorious and worlds’ highest via Ferrata – Low’s Peak circuit!

It was the ladies’ 2nd or 3rd attempt to complete the Low’s Peak via Ferrata and they reported: ‘It’s so worth it!’
