Usukan Bay Wrecks – World War 2 Japanese Ship Wrecks

The Usukan Bay World War 2 Japanese Ship Wrecks are steeped in history, which makes the vivid marine life it is now home to so much more interesting.

On a moonlit night in October 1944 American submarine, USS Hammerhead SS-364, sunk several Japanese war ships that were escorting ships carrying unknown cargo.

Today the wrecks host a thriving marine eco system, making it an attractive wreck diving destination for divers visiting Sabah.
