Glamorgan Uni Project AWARE April 2011
In April 2011 Downbelow teamed up with the Glamorgan University UK for a mangrove & beach cleanup.
The team managed to clear more than 800kg of rubbish from the mangrove & beach area along the shores of Gaya Island.
More than $400 was raised for the Padi Project AWARE Foundation (a non profit organization) by raffling a new dive computer donated by Downbelow.
A huge thanks to all participants for their efforts in raising awareness to the environmental challenges our oceans are facing.
