Our next Instructor Development Course (IDC) begins its course orientation on January 27th!

Candidates will be joining from all corners of the world: Malaysia, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Italy, France and America! The IDC will be an exciting time with different cultures communicating the same purpose: to live the diving dream!

Living the diving dream is realised once successfully completing the IDC. Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann and his Go PRO team of Instructor Trainers are highly experienced and fully committed throughout your journey of becoming a PADI Instructor.

Our candidates will partake in various teaching presentations, theory and skills workshops, and mock examinations to prepare for the PADI Instructor Examination. All course components are conducted at both the classroom in our Head Office at Times Square and at our PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre on Gaya Island.

Downbelow are so passionate towards our candidates’ success. To provide the best chance of achieving this Downbelow offer internship programs for the total Go PRO career experience.
In a 1-month program, tailored to your individual needs, pre-IDC preparation is included to familiarize with the dive theory & in-water skills introduced in the PADI Divemaster course. This is ideal for a more focused study on those areas that our candidates and the Downbelow Go Pro team feel needs improvement.

Despite lots of hard work for the IDC, there will be time during an internship program to dive the reefs of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park islands.
Our beach house is so fortunately based in a calm training lagoon on Gaya Island; the location allows us to easily conduct boat and/or shore or jetty dives every single day, with three scheduled dives, and we dive all year!

Downbelow include another attractive benefit of unlimited scuba diving within all of our Go PRO internship programs for our candidates’ fun and relaxation.

Not only do our Go PRO internship programs involve unlimited diving, pre-IDC preparation workshops, but we will arrange for the logistics of your travel between Kota Kinabalu City Centre and Gaya Island (which is only a 10-minute speed boat ride from the city). Accommodation is also inclusive within the Go PRO internship programs. We know learning to be a dive educator is challenging fun and more so because we address the other necessities on your behalf.

You will find our dedication to customer service is of a very high standard when you decide to live your diving dream!
