danish young adventurers complete PADI Open Water Course in Gaya Island, Borneo

Downbelow’s resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann took a photo with the adventure group from Denmark after they successfully completed their PADI Open Water Course with Downbelow.

The course is part of their adventure in Borneo program and with the certification, they can now dive with a qualified dive buddy up to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

The energetic adventurers have now completed the first level of PADI Certification and as the photos showed, they got their reward as divers when they dived to see the majestic coral garden and also swam with the beautiful marine life just outside of our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre.

After experiencing fun in the waters, the jungle of Borneo awaits them – the next portion of their 1 month adventure is the Salt Trails – which will see them trekking through the jungle trails for four days covering a distance of 34km.
