PADI IDC Staff Instructor Tim assesses PADI Divemaster intern Madja’s mapping skills.

Thursday, February 27th, 2014 @ 10:04 News, Professional Diving Internships

As part of the PADI Divemaster course there are practical skills to be completed, and one of which is a mapping project. Tim, one of our full time PADI IDC Staff Instructors assigns his PADI Divemaster student Madja the task of mapping a reef in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

Dive professionals must be confident with a dive site, as it is a part of their duty to be knowledgeable of the underwater environment when guiding divers.
Tim will brief Madja on how to survey an open water site and with reference to such information as depths, hazards, entry and exit points.

Unlimited scuba diving is a part of Madja’s Go PRO internship program, as it is with all our Go PRO packages, and she will learn through our PADI Instructors’ experience of the coral reefs and also apply her newly acquired mapping skills!

Contact one of our Head Office team in KK Times Square to discuss your flexible itinerary for your own Go PRO internship program to start living your diving dream!
