Teaching family is so rewarding and one of our interns is about to find out how!

Thibaut is teaching his younger brother the PADI Open Water Course today and continuing his scuba diving education all the way to become a PADI Divemaster.

Understanding the course content through knowledge development is very important, so teaching his brother in French, their first language, will really help when applying the dive theory to the practical skills and PADI offer eLearning in many languages too.

Thibaut qualified as a PADI Instructor with Downbelow in November this year as part of his three month internship program and completed PADI Specialty Instructor ratings: all of his diving history and experiences he will use with every course he teaches his student.

His brother is the first student he will certify and they will start with the entry-level course PADI Open Water and progress to PADI Advanced, PADI Rescue and finally PADI Divemaster.

Eventually, these two brothers will be able to travel to amazing dive destinations together and Thibaut will have a certified assistant for when he teaches more students!

The Downbelow staff fully support and offer Thibaut any advice on teaching his younger brother. Good luck to the brothers and their journey to Go PRO together!
