Downbelow’s ‘Work For a Career’ PADI Divemasters are already aiming for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)!

As our newest Divemaster trainees, Nunuk and Clarence, are taking the opportunity to qualify as professional divers in our Downbelow-created local Go PRO internship program called ‘Work For a Career’. In 1 year, trainees need to prove themselves to be a valuable member of our dive operations island staff team.

Resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann takes over their diver education from when they reach the PADI Divemaster-level, and mentors them to reach for the next level: PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor!

From the PADI Open Water Diver course, all the way to the PADI Divemaster, our KK Dive Shop will provide them with the educational materials they need to succeed.

They’ve still got a while to go, as they have only just begun their program, and we will remain supportive to maintain their positive attitude!

Find out more when you get in touch with our Sabah Travel Centre/Kota Kinabalu Dive Shop at our HQ, and begin an exciting career in the professional scuba diving industry!
