The vital importance of coral reefs aside, they are also the playgrounds of divers and the healthier the reef, the better the scuba experience of the diver – just one of the reasons why as a diver, it is your duty to be coral reef aware.
Through the AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course, you will be come gain knowledge about the fragility of coral reefs and the role that you can play in their preservation.
What will you learn?
The AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course will teach you what a vital role coral reefs play in the marine environment.

Although no dives are required for the AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course, you will see coral reefs with new eyes during your next fun dive having fostered an appreciation for the most precious of the ocean’s resources.
When you enroll in the AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course, you could also find and join a conservation project in your local community or nearby, which will enable you to work towards your PADI National Geographic Diver certification.
