Kota Kinabalu Orang Utan Sanctuary
Rehabilitation of the Wild Man of Borneo

Rasa Ria Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre
The Rasa Ria Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre helps orphaned or struggling wild orang utans to learn how to fend for themselves.
The rehabilitation is necessary with the eye on releasing them back in to the wild where they will have to be self sufficient in order to survive.
The Rasa Ria Orang Utan Sanctuary is located about 40 minutes outside the city.
At the centre you will be introduced to the plight of these precious creatures.
You will come to understand why they are endangered and what you can do to help.
You will then have the opportunity to get closer to these relatives of man during a feeding session.
