Tim, a PADI IDCS Instructor and a member of our Go PRO team, conducts the PADI Discover Scuba Diving for our clients in the shallow bay in front of our Dive Centre facility.
Danny, one of our PADI Divemaster Trainees is assisting Tim’s student divers to adjust their dive equipment so that their experience is as comfortable as possible! The customer service that Danny practices is part of his Go PRO internship training and necessary for him to observe Tim’s skills in supervision to develop his own.
Tim, just like our other PADI Instructors, will mentor Danny during his 1-year program to achieve the PADI Divemaster rating, and provide our high standard in quality dive training for him to become a confident dive leader!

Sandakan is a region on the east coast of Sabah, known as a haven for endemic Borneo wildlife, and accessible for experience by the public.
Our four lucky travel consultants, Joey, Stephanie, Lulu and Jane will be experiencing the incredible natural beauty Sabah has to offer, on a trip to visit the various attractions our travel packages include!
One such activity they will participate in is to witness the conservation efforts of the Borneon Sun Bear Conservation Centre. The population of the endemic sun bear (Helarctos malayanus), or ‘honey bear’ as it’s sometimes known as, is of a vulnerable status, and the ladies will appreciate the responsible tourism practiced through efforts to rehabilitate the bears.
The trip is fully sponsored by our company, in which the ladies are given the opportunity to develop their knowledge on the services of our trusted partners and apply their valuable firsthand experience to our clients’ adventures in Sabah!
Get more details on the travel packages we have to visit Sandakan and other parts of Sabah, and our helpful and friendly Head Office staff will create a personalized itinerary to meet your holiday needs!
Master Instructor Paul teaches the PADI Rescue Diver course for two of our international clients with the assistance of Go Pro interns Andy and Cindy!
During the course, Paul will introduce his students to the well being of other divers, which builds on the self-rescue skills from previous PADI courses.
His certified assistants are preparing themselves for our upcoming Instructor Development Course (IDC), so the exposure to Paul’s instructional methods are valuable for their professional training to become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors!

Kota Kinabalu and Sabah has been experiencing seasonal rainstorms for several weeks, however it does not deter our island activities, especially with our scuba diving programs! Seasonal rainstorms keep the country green and the air fresh, showers begin around 3-4pm daily and last a few hours. Bright blue skies then return the following morning !
Managing Director and resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann is an avid underwater photographer and joins the leisure dive boat to check out the conditions our diving clients experience.
Photography is an excellent dive activity and most popular with all marine enthusiasts, not just divers! It’s difficult to explain the sights to loved ones at home and much more effective to capture it in a photo or video.
Our Dive Centre facility on Gaya Island offers a range of underwater cameras to rent to our clients for their activity, and they’re quite popular so do arrange ahead of time with our Head Office staff to update our island staff team to set one aside. One of our experienced and professional PADI Instructors’ will also show you the settings to get the most out of your rental equipment!
Get in touch to explore the incredible biodiversity of the underwater rainforests of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park on one of our island activities!
It’s just cake after cake consumed at our Head Office in KK Times Square! But it’s just a lot of birthdays recently, and it’s our Dive Shop Supervisor Karen’s turn!
After many weeks of deliberation over flavour (Durian was requested, but denied!), frosting, thickness and so much more to cake-ology, Karen decided on caramel! It was delicious, enjoyed very much by all and the blue-coloured sponge didn’t put anyone off at all!
Happy birthday to our lovely, Karen!

At our Gaya Island beach house in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, PADI Instructor Along continues his student divers’ education from the PADI Open Water Diver to the PADI Rescue Diver!
Our international client doesn’t hesitate to learn more about scuba diving as he qualifies in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, straight after the 3-day PADI Open Water. Along conducted 5 adventure dives within the PADI Advanced Open Water, 2 of them were deep and underwater navigation and core curriculum requirements. The reason being is that, the student diver will then be qualified to dive to 30 metres, so must be fairly confident underwater!
Along will continue his students’ dive experiences to become a PADI Rescue Diver, as well as an Emergency First Responder. It will surely be fantastic fun on these courses thanks to Along’s enthusiasm to inspire his student diver to progress his dive education!

We’re delighted to find an article by Project AWARE Foundations’ Hannah Pragnell-Raasch on our marine conservation efforts in the latest edition of the PADI Undersea Journal!
Our resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann took this photo, which was used for the article, and it shows our Go PRO internship candidates working together to remove an illegal ‘ghost net’ from further damaging the delicate coral reef ecosystem.
The article raises public awareness of the biggest plight to our marine environment in the local area, which is marine debris. Marine debris can be anything from hundreds of metres of illegally dumped fishing net to plastic products, and is a ‘silent killer’ to our seas and oceans.
We are dedicated supporters to the Project AWARE movement, frequently contributing to our shared mission to protect the environment.
Adventure groups visiting our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre volunteer their efforts to achieve a unique experience to learn more about our tropical environment. Get in touch with our Head Office for more details on how to contribute with us!
