Bob) has already progressed to his first academic presentation during the January IDC here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Under the watchful eye of resident PADI Course Director Richard, Alvin gave his first presentation in an actual Instructor Development Course.

IDC Staff Instructors are inherently part of the Instructor Development Course as they set topics and shape divemasters into becoming dive instructors.

As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Alvin will become a master of instructor-level dive theory.

He will also be a master in knowledge development teaching presentations and confined water teaching presentations.

And as a student no longer, Alvin can audit Instructor Development Courses as a staff member instead.

Once qualified as a IDC Staff Instructor, he will be able to teach courses, by himself, up to PADI Assistant Instructor.

He will also be qualified to assist the PADI Course Director in assisting on IDCs and instructor level continuing education.
