Ask friends to take the PADI Open Water Course to learn scuba diving together, and explore the amazing underwater life! Learning a new skill with friends, is a lot easier, and not to mention more fun!
Mel, one of our full time PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors is briefing his students at our Gaya Island beach house. We deliver a high standard of diver training at Downbelow – our briefings are thorough so the student understands the importance of skills.
Mel shows how a self-rescue skill will be conducted underwater, with the assistance of Gary, PADI Divemaster Trainees. Gary is also training for his PADI Divemaster qualification, under a 1-year, Downbelow-created program called ‘Work For a Career’. This is aimed to give the option for a professional career, and the opportunities that are offered, in the diving industry.
Gary has developed so much during his time with us at Downbelow and the valuable knowledge from observing the dive operations at our PADI dive centre will benefit toward continuing his education to become a PADI Instructor.
Like Gary: don’t forget to continue your education and improve your skills after your course, with PADI Specialties, or PADI Advanced Open Water!
